Hello~ after a short hiatus and I'm back! 

Finally back in KL...kinda sad leaving Nottingham...>< the campus there is much much nicer...hahaha

anws...i'll be starting my intern next week in Port Dickson...

will reveal more about it when I start my training and will blog about my intern experience and more about the company I'm interning for...=))) by hearing the name of the company it's already quite exciting...so if you want to know more...stay tuned XDDD  

So before heading to Venice we stopped at a small town in Classe called Ravena...

 A statue of Julius Caesar...

 The cathedral of all the mosaic....I personally think it's quite boring...since I'm not a cathedral person nor an artsy person...

 Finally at the port waiting for the water taxi to bring us to the lagoon of Venice

 What's venice famous for? Masks! but I do not want any of this smiling at me in my own house/room == 

 We even went on a ride on a Gondola~ 

 Dave, the funny guy of our tour...

That's basically the first day in Venice...did some shopping(my mom, not me)..but not much pictures taken...

The next day in Venice is the highlight! 

went to an island called Murano for the Glass blowing demonstration...so cool! 

 The shop itself is already very very beautiful! 

These are all handmade! bought myself and jen a keychain there...too pretty to resists XD 

then we headed back to the main lagoon and my mom did some shopping then we boarded into another boat to Burano! Lovely lovely place! This is what you should expect to see in Venice! imho, Burano is the real Venice! 

 Look at all the colourful houses...my camera is not doing the island any justice...>< go and see it for yourself! 

The island is all about the coloured houses and laces...so many lace museum located in this island...

After Venice we drove to Verona first before heading to Lucerne ...

I've been waiting to go to Verona..and I blame the movie Letters to Juliet's ...><

watched that movie in the cinema twice and not sure hw many times on TV...

that shows how much i want to go to Verona...

Girls fantasy you know... 

when we finally reached there...the number of tourists is terrifying...

goodness lor...the Juliet balcony is so small and hundreds of tourists are trying to squeeze in and not to mention, to touch Juliet's boobies...==

 Look at the number of People...and the wall == 

 Vandalism!!! they spoil my imaginary image of Verona so badly!!!! 

 The padlock gate...this inspired the padlock bridge in Paris...

and the statue of Juliet...took me so long to get this picture because people kept rushing in the touch her boobs! 

 You can write to "Juliet" about ur love matters if you want...XD 

The arena in Verona...looks like the Colosseum in Rome...

That's basically the end of Verona...

Next Stop is Lucerne...I m too lazy to write everything in detail...so don't complain about my briefness on everything...hahahaha  

Europe Trip Part 2

yoohoo~ I'm back~ Today is my last full day in Nottingham...

tomorrow i will flying back to my beloved country-Malaysia~ 

sad to leave but happy to go...contradicting much? haha...

time flies like nobody's business...i didn't knoe 9 months could go by that fast! 

The next time i come back to England might be years later...

okok..back to the blog topic...

so after Rome, it's Florence time~ 

basically Italy is all about shopping...especially Florence and Milan..

too bad we are in a tour and there's not much shopping time allocated..to me it's ok la...but to my mom...haha

you know all the aunties loves shopping right? XDDD 

so anyway...

before heading to florence, we'd stopped by a small town called- Siena...

 look at the lane..so old and so much history...i m just speechless...hahaha

 pizza~~~ ate here because of the toilet XD do you know finding a toilet in europe is a pain in the ass....is either too expensive or it just doesn't exist 

 gelato....guilty pleasure everyday in italy..

after that~ on the way to florence....

stopped at a place to get a panoramic view of florence~

look at all the antique cars~

 finally at florence~ 

happens to be an indian festival at that time...haha..first time seeing ang mohs in sari~ 

 another basilica~ tell you, italy is all about cathedral and churches...

a lot of walking and listening..i old already la...a lot of things listen already then cannot remember...

went to the museum with the real David~ by Michelangelo...too bad no photography is allowed in the museum...>< but I have..

Pink David! hahahahahaha.. this is the worst replica of David I've ever seen...and it's just outside the museum...the real David statue is damn lengzai one lor..this one ...== 

A fortress in the campo of Florence~ 

 There're so many statues on the square...quite magnificent 

 Another replica of David... this is much more like the real one..basically to a person like me ( know nothing about art) it looks the same..haha..but of course the real one has more vibe in it...

 After that it was just walking around and some sightseeing...

The next day we hop on the bus and off we go to see the leaning tower of Pisa~~ 

lalalala~ 

 it's leaning! apparently with the foundation now it will stay there for another 200 years...

 After Pisa~ back to central of Florence again~ 

Florence is popular for their hand made leather and Gold...so there we are~ a leather workshop~ 

 And that is when my mom started her shopping...

apparently, most of the shopping done are for her friends....><

for dinner, we had a typical Tuscan dinner on top of the hill~ 

the scenery and ambiance is really nice but the food is just soso....too much pasta and risotto for my liking...><
