the past week was not a very pleasant week...

details i'm sure most of my frens in notts or plurk already know what happened...

glad that at least ppl take the trouble to inform me...

not so glad that this makes me realize that not everybody is so nice...

even educated people are sometimes brainless and heartless...

after that emo afternoon went and had dinner with honey n nic at beeston in a cantonese restaurant =)

spending money is the only therapy XD oh dear..i 'm so spoilt...

yesterday~

thanks to my bro and my mama i get to buy monster beats headphone as a birthday present from them =))

has been eyeing on these babies since last year....

got the solo one in red...my initial target was the white one but i know i'm not good at maintaining things...so white might not be the best colour to maintain so i decided to get the red one..since i like the red one alot too =)

after buying the headphone i coincidentally bumped into yuwei =)

so we ended up shopping together =))))

then at the end of the day I had dinner with her and yangsai,qingqing and jing jing =)

all my cute little course mates=)

had thai=))))

tom yum goong was very very very nice =) love sourish and spicy things...hahahaha

Assam laksa + The Hunger Games

Eat out two days in a row...

very unusual for me since coming to notts...

Finally found where nada budaya is and decided to kill my six months crave for assam laksa with Nabila =)

I know when it comes to Malaysian food, I am definitely not a very good Malaysian...

better ask me about Malaysia's Chinese Education than about Malaysian Food XDD

hahaha

so two of us took off to town using our "beloved" Unite bus...XD

found the restaurant but couldn't find the entrance at 1st....hahaha

ended up it was the same entrance as the pub above the restaurant...

the ambiance there was quite nice...quite similar to Madam Kwan but much quieter...

not many people were dining when we were there...

I didn't have to look at the menu to know what I want...XD

persuaded Nabila to try char kuey tiau... since that's the only thing besides assam laksa I know well...hahaha

you must be asking, how about nasi lemak?

I've only had like less than 10 times of nasi lemak in my whole life...

wth?! yea yea...i don't really like nasi lemak...

finally~ my assam laksa was served...

try the soup first...

kinda disappointed ><

not spicy and sour enough for my liking...

i like madam kwan's one and the ss2 coffee shop one much better...

even pappa rich one seems better lei...oh dear...

and they used thick yellow mee instead of "lai fun" ...

assam laksa is all about the lai fun lor...><

assam laksa without lai fun is just wrong lar...

but i think maybe UK very hard to get lai fun...

well..beggars can't be chooses right?

Nabila seems to like the char kuey tiau though...=)))

after dinner both of us were craving for ice cream...

1st thought was baskin robin..but vic centre was already closed at that time...

then nabila suggested corner house...

when we reached corner house i saw TGIfriday and i was like: TGI aaaaa ! i want their mud pie XD

then we patiently waited 25 mins to be seated..

and i ordered my mud pie then nabila ordered her sundae...

sundae on friday..geddit? geddit? XDDDD

ok i know not funny lar...

tgi's mud pie was discontinued in msia the last time i've heard...sad lar

mouth watering mud pie....woohooooo XD

after our gluttony dessert...we managed to catch the Unite bus home =))

lovely night with nabila~ but stomach mau burst edi XD

saturday came~

The hunger games!

the book is plain awesome, of course have to watch the movie lor...XD

has been looking forward to watch it so badly lor...

the trailer was breath taking lar...and i managed to finish the 1st book before watching the movie XD u know lar...the way i read takes me at least 2 weeks to finish one book...

only read when i'm waiting for the bus, before sleeping and most of all pangsai time XD ok..TMI

went and watch with Nora...=)

dunno why UK's cinema commercials damn long lor... i think it was almost 20 mins of plain commercials and movie trailer...

the next movie will be the avengers XD

the good and bad thing about reading the book is that you know every single detail and what you are going to expect...

but a lot of scenes were taken off in the movie lor..

but cannot blames them oso..no slots to squeeze in some details from the book into the movie oso...

but i'm not going to lie..it's a good movie but i think i enjoyed the book more...

the book has more intense to it and more dept into what's the hunger games about...

they didn't even mention why Gale has to put 42 names for the reaping this year and Katniss affection towards Peeta was just to put on a show to save their lives...

and katniss was tortured more in the book like the trackerjay's stings, the mine that deafen her ears...etc etc...

nonetheless, the movie is worth watching but the book is highly recommended by me =)

after the movie, we went to Yo! sushi for dinner =)

hadn't had japanese for quite some time...

i love salmon arrrrrr ....

but yo sushi is quite pricey lor...

can eat xenri edi ar...xenri is just awesome ...miss xenri so much...

chatted for quite awhile then head home by bus...

nice hanging out with you lar... we faster save more money go eat nice food...hahaha XD

再靠近一点点就让你牵手~

想当年，我才12岁就爱上这团奇特的女子团体XD

如今我都快21岁了。。。。

时间也过得太快了吧！

还记得13岁看了我人生中第一场演唱会也就是SHE的演唱会。。。

感谢老妈当时让我去看。。。=））））

不过追星生涯是15岁才正式开始的。。。

当时第一场签唱会也是SHE的签唱会也是和怡萤一起去看的。。。感谢她当时的票。。。=））

后来就加入了无可取代，票就从此不适问题。。。

因为SHE我认识也很多人也带了很多没看过SHE本人的朋友去看他们。。。

其中我最感谢的就是jenny~ 很多场签唱会都是和她一起看的。。。

我记得我15岁加入委员。。。虽然到最后也当不成正式的。。。

不过也算曾经拥有吧。。而且过后高中也太忙了。。。

如今Ella也要结婚了~

selina和ella都结婚，现在就只剩hebe...

不知道我何时突然发现他们三个的星座刚好就是我，祯，慧的星座。。。

刚好也就是他们的感情写照和我们的一样。。。

selina,天蝎座,慧也是天蝎座。。。

ella,双子座，祯也是双子座。。。

hebe牡羊座，我也是牡羊座。。。

刚好我也是他们三个里面唯一的单身。。。TT 悲剧啊。。。

不过我相信hebe很快就会找到他的真名天子。。。

我也会！XD 哈哈哈。。。。

好啦。。。我在胡说八道而已啦。。。

Malaysian Night~

I've volunteered for something again =))  

have to try to be active since I will be leaving UK soon...

so i volunteered for malaysian night~ proud to be Malaysian~ 

i was then allocated into the costume department~ 

thanks to all my friends that lent me their shirts and pants~ 

thank you vincent, jack, wenwu, mujahed~ gamsahabnida~~~ 

of course~ nice meeting a lot of new friends~ 

bonded with my partner Nora through this event =))) 

cute little nora =)))  

all the actors and actresses were awesome~ 

heard that they've been practicing hardcore for more than a month...

costumes were only needed for full dressed rehearsal and the actual day... so basically including the first meeting, i've only presented myself for 4 days~ 

all the dancers were also amazing~ 

miss lily as the chinese tea lady XDDDD but we kept calling her the dai lou mistress~ 

I was in charge of the dai lou and his lengs~ 

on the actual performance~

luck wasn't on my side...

wanted to walk to uni to catch the free bus but then walked half way realise i didn't bring the costumes...fml

then walked back to my hostel grab my stuff, wanted to call a cab but the cab came late..so i just ffk the cab and decided to take the public bus later == 

really pissed gaogao lor...

anws...after reaching there everything turns out fine =) 

i was in the dressing room most of the time...

didn't get to catch the actual performance but the crowd was overwhelming~ 

heard that the responds were awesome =))))  

with the main actor and ah bengs~ 

with the main actress and the costumes team =))) 

it was fun knowing you guys~~~ 

awesome experience~ thanks to our team leader, Mira for helping us all the time~

i know i just posted about beauty box in the previous post...

but i have been saving this post for quite some time because i don't want to overwhelm anybody with cosmetics...

but of coz i failed...

i waited for only 2 weeks == 

got all these things about 2 weeks ago....

i was just out of my mind when i bought these coz i'd just finished my biggest project of the year at that point of time...

 got these perfume samples from the urban decay sales...my fav sample here is lovestruck by vera wang...it has a stronger floral scent but not too overwhelming to wear..some perfumes are just to strong..can just instantly cause headache...==

 smudge pot in kitten from stila..it works like a MAC paint pot and i think it's quite similar to the MAC paint pot in bare study....

 it can be use as a gel liner or a shadow base...but i think this colour is too light for a gel liner lar...

 mascara volume effet faux cils by YSL~ tried a few times and i think this is going to be a holy grail mascara..because i have super oily lids that most mascara smudges on me TT heard this from  somebody with  oily lids and decided to give it a try~ =) 

 urban decay 24/7 liquid liner in sabbath.. it's a dark blue liquid liner and surprisingly, liquid liner brings up my double eye lids~ =)))) love it! 

 the brush tip is super fine, quite easy to control~ 

 brow box~ by urban decay 

 it comes in two brow colours that u can mix n match, a brush, a tweezer and a brow wax ~ still learning how to groom my brows...brows are the hardest!!!! 

last but not least~ urban decay 15th anniversary palette~~ wanted this since last year but didn't get it coz i just bought the naked palette~ they've just released the naked 2 palette but i decided to get this instead coz the naked 2 is actually quite similar to the naked 1 and i have enough nudes and neutral colours...i need something colourful~ the box is just gorgeous! 

 super nice right? the pigmentation is awesome! swatches below~ 

promise! will not have these kind of updates for a long time~ =)))  

Glossy Box Harrods edition

another beauty box post is here~ 

this is my 2nd beauty box but it's not from carmine but from glossybox~ 

was tempted to subscribe to this month's box coz they collaborated with harrods~ 

harrods= luxurious products...right? right? 

haha...

the usual glossy boxes are pink but the harrods edition is white =) 

 the box came with a glossy cardboard box~ royalmail.=) 

 once open, a white sleek box with harrods printed on it =)) 

 look at the green ribbon and the product card~ 

tadaa~ this is what i've got for this month's box... slighty disappointed coz i wanted the mini burberry lip tint..but didn't get that ><

 lancome's juicytubes-toffee : really tastes like toffee..delicious XD 

 bliss-body butter 

 versace-vanitas versace eau de parfum - smells quite nice..a scent that i might grow into it

 revive-intensite creme lustre..suppose to help with sagging skin..although i m only 20 but doesn't mean that only old ppl nid anti-aging products...prevent is better than cure right? and this retails for 200++ pounds for its full size..so defo worth trying 

clarins-extra firming body cream..another anti-aging product which i don't mind..coz prevention is better than curing ma....who says young girls can't use anti-aging products=)) 

no review coz just got it this afternoon...everything written here is by first impression...

not sure whether i will continue subscribing to it or not since i only got this month coz of harrods...XD 

All England 2012

I was never really a sports watching person...

but since i m in england, and since i can get the tix for only 10 pounds...

so i decided to go n support our fellow malaysian- lee chong wei~~ 

and since badminton is the only sport i can sit through the whole match...haha

my 1st badminton match is definitely the finals of 08' olympics... oso lcw vs lindan 

long story short...

i went to birmingham ytd to watch all england 2012 championship~ =)) 

quite heng fan lor...coz get to see lcw in person...wahahaha 

went there with cute lil sin yee and met up with ming you there =)

reached there super early...so went and hv breakfast while waiting for mingyou to come 

went into the stadium at 11-ish... 

camwhored a little XDDD 

patriotic much XD 

the 1st game was woman singles...

i actually don't know them and on normal circumstances i wouldn't even watch woman singles...TBH...

but i know the winner is li xue rui lar...XD but dunno why the ang moh mc pronounce her name until...== 

the next s mixed doubles~ 

was spacing+ chit chatting half the time throughout the whole game...

but i oso know indonesia won lar...XD the only game that has no china players...@@ 

and of coz we fellow malaysians cheered for our neighbour lar...those denmark cheering crowd all wore whites...seems kinda creepy...XD 

but china supporters all damn rich lor...all sitting at the premium seats...and there were so many of them!! 

but we malaysians oso not bad lar... so many brought flags...=))) 

then women doubles..i was totally unaware wad was happening the whole game == 

both teams r oso from china...== 

men doubles~ as a kpop fan and after my fren's recommendation..i, of coz support lee yong dae and jung jae sung lar...XD 

there was only one korean guy at my block trying so hard to cheer for his country " dae han min gu" so we malaysians oso cheered for korea =)) 

eventually they won!!! woots~ 

last but not least~ men singles~ the reason i was there...

china's lin dan~ 

the mc's introductory sounds so much like WWE smack down == 

but we malaysians cheer like there's no tomorrow...

went and watch the vid of the match..walao..we damn loud lor..

nowonder my mom n dad watching from the TV oso say we malaysians damn noisy...hahahahaha

we've got lesser ppl than china supporters but we were much louder..we must be crazy...hahahaha 

i shouted until my throat sore..haha...many years of star chasing training benefits me on these kind of events XD 

haiz...too bad LCW injured his hands and did to complete the whole match..sad much? 

but nvm...olympics! 

he still has my support!  i like this pic..coz bromance XD 

went back to notts after the game ended... 

i did enjoy and this is definitely a once in a lifetime experience...

i won't be able to watch all england live again after this wad...

nonetheless, the whole game was awesome! 

when i told my mom that i was going to watch all england, she said that my dad will be proud of me == 

of all thing..why proud of me watching badminton lei == 

maybe becoz i usually hate watching sports....especially when i want to watch something on tv but cannot coz they're either watching badminton, nba or soccer == 

well...i did enjoy though =) 

great experience! and this gave the another reason to love malaysia and miss malaysia more =) 

星座

我从小学开始就很喜欢看。。。

不过也就是看，看了爽了也就算了。。。

我也不是拿来看运气啦。。。

都是看有什么奇怪的性格，如果说中了就会兴奋一下。。。

然后看下自己身边的朋友都是什么星座。。。

如果刚好中的就是和自己星座关系好的星座也会兴奋一下子。。。

话说。。。

我刚刚就发现我科的一个女生朋友又是牡羊座。。。哇。。。

没想到牡羊座的女生都喜欢工科？

你看理一唯二的牡羊座都是工科的。。。

然后在数量极少的mechanical里，找到3个牡羊座女生。。。

hmm...是我们这个星座的女生有病还是怎样。。。

最近期待每天的on call 36小时。。。。

第一个原因就是因为杨怡。。。
