Blogging time!
just came back from barcelona...
super tiring + super artistic journey~
something disastrous happend before departing...
we missed the bus to liverpool!!!!
by 4 minutes! aaaaa....
ended up taking a cab there..which is a ripped off...
the moral of this story tells us not to be late and overestimate our time...
but anw...better than blowing off the whole trip lar...
spent the night at john lennon airport..which the heater was hopeless...
had to wear down feather inside the airport and still feel cold...*fail*
didn't miss the flight to barcelona...hahaha *blessed*
finally reached barcelona..and it's a sanctuary because the temperature is wonderful...
no down feather jacket needed!
20+ celcius...definitely a steal! we call this trip the *bi han* trip means *winter getaway* ...
can just walk out with a jacket...nice lor...
better than having to feel cold even being indoor...like now == stupid heater not working properly...
didn't sleep for more than 24hours... but cannot waste time..
so we bought the barcelona touristic bus ticket and went sight-seeing...
barcelona is definitely a breath taking city...
a lot of gothic/historical buildings..and the architecture is just amazing...
i dunno hw to describe la..just bear with my lack of vocabulary...
anw...
even rough ppl like me had to act all "shu nv" there lor...
super artistic and u could even smell art everywhere...*kuajiong*
our first stop is at the gothic square...
a lot of those small stores/kiosk selling christmas decor and hand made crafts or so...
we made our first moved to the barcelona de cathedral...
the cathedral is just massive! crazy massive!gloriously massive!
i can only just give this expression "*0*" the whole time...
and of course not forgetting to plank lar...XD
first european country i visit lei...of course hv to plank lar...hahaha

then went for our first meal in barcelona...
omg lor..the cost of living in barcelona is much higher than in notts lor...
everything is super expensive...
had pork loin and chips...super like lor..coz the baked eggplant is just superb...<3 eggplant....
the pork a bit too tough lar...
oh ya...forgotten to talk about our hotel...
quite nice lor....so called 4-star hotel lar...the website stated...
undoubtedly it was quite a comfortable stay and consider quite spacious and nice for the price we paid lor...
2 nights, each person around 50+ euro only lei...
didn't captured the third bed right beside me...and the toilet...
the toilet was surprisingly big and nice..got bathtub summore lor...
after hving lunch/dinner..we went to look for the picasso museum...
not artistic also hv to act lar...
who says engineering students are not artistic?
too bad we r not allowed to take pictures inside the showroom lar...
the showroom shows a lot of picasso's art in years accordingly ...
he didn't started drawing all the *mix and match/kemek face and body* when he first started drawing...
only until later he started to deviate into that direction...
but honestly lar..i really dunno hw to appreciate...
it was already 5pm when we left the museum...
walking back to gothic square we saw a hige crowd...something like a demonstration dunno about what..coz i dunno spanish...road blocks everywhere, police directing the traffic...
we ended up walking a few blocks to find our touristic bus...
didn't bother going to any other destinations coz we were super sleepy...==
DAY 2~
woke up at 7am to have our complementary buffet breakfast and made our way bus stop to wait for the touristic bus...
we were all energized and we basically finished the red and blue route of the touristic bus~
those marked destinations are spots that we'd actually bought ticket to go inside...
but we'd actually finished the whole red and blue route..the green route is only open during september...
our first stop of the day is catalunya~ the most popular street in barcelona..la rambla...
a lot of shops there...even the H&M there is 5 storey high...
not really in a mood for shopping coz those nice+unique boutiques are always too expensive...
those affordable ones can be found in the UK....
so we just hop on the bus and went to the number 1 spot of barcelona- sagrada familia~
dunno is this considered as a cathedral or not...but it started building in 1909 by gaudi but until now the construction is still going on...
the details of the whole building is just super complicated and *0* lor...
wanted to plank there..but my friend stopped me TT
look at all the pillars...speechless lar...
look at all the detailing...crazy work man...
after visiting the great sagrada familia..we hopped on the bus and continue our tour...
wanted to visit the medieval times museum but when we reached there, they were already closing...
what the...it was only 1.30 pm...==
don't care..still plank there...
then our next stop~
barcelona FC~~~
didn't visit their museum coz...the ticket cost 22 euro == such a ripped off lor...
tell you ar...didn't actually buy much this trip but spent a lot of admission ticket and transportation...super costly lor...
wanted to buy the jersey for my bro but that piece of fabric with stripes cost a bomb! 99 euro for one jersey... go and rob the bank faster lor ==
want me to die ar..99 euro... ==
ended up buying a barcelona water bottle for my bro...and he say i better buy him the jersey when i m back in KL == which he said cost around RM250 in KL.... hw come ar?? the jersey is cheaper in KL than in barcelona??
crazy....overpriced fabric...
after that we went to the spanish village which i think it's a must go as it shows us the cultures of a traditional spanish village with super cute shops...
those hand made Jewelries are just so pretty...had to pick out a few before leaving....
then the chocolate shop is a also super unique...
i bought a bar of chocolate with rose petals on it..super cute lor...
they even hv chocolate which gouji... i was like *0* again...
but didn't get that coz the combination is just weird...
wanted to make a stop at one place that the audio "told" us that it's a 4km stretch of retail shops..
but ended up it was empty and kena kacau by a crazy spanish uncle lor ==
then after that we went to the aquarium at port veil...
didn't visit the aquarium though..coz too costly...go langkawi lar...
so we just walked around the shopping centre beside it....
quite nice but quite quiet...
then we called it a day~
when we went back the hotel... we watch the barcelona episode of 时尚玩家。。。
and we decided to go back to sagrada familia the next day to find the gelato shop that they recommended...
DAY 3...
had breakfast and checked out around 9 am coz we want to make full use of the time before going back...
had to take the metro coz the touristic bus ticket expired...
i think hving being trained by taking LRT,MRT,MTR all these years making taking metro not complicated at all...hahahaha....*narcissist*
recognize lines and stations like a BOSS...
buy tickets without changing the language to english...hahahaha
we went to la rambla for the last time..
was trying to look for longchamp for my cousin sis but couldn't find it before that...
wanted to give up but ended up finding it...woots~
found the design and colour she wanted too...double woots!
wenyen~ if u r reading this, prepare to shout~
after that we head to sagrada familia again~
and guess what? we found the gelato shop...
wait wait..something is just not right....hw can we not have paella in spain??? without paella, everything is just not complete...
so we went to a local restaurant to have paella!
nice but the seafood is just too little..><
the paella in KL got more seafood lei.... yogitree rules!
and not to forget...
had sangria for the first time... recommended by 时尚玩家
it's red wine+fruits..
yen shann...u geng liao lar..drink alcohol during lunch lar...ppl drink ice lemon tea u drink red wine lar...
but it taste quite strong but i think the alcohol percentage is actually quite low... didn't feel anything...
we still have 2 hours to kill before heading to the airport...
so we decided to go to casa mila-la padrera~ also by gaudi...
i just had to plank...XD
finally..we had to go home~

worst part of the day is we had to stay out in the cold outside of the liverpool train station ==
coz we didn't know that they only open at 5.50am...
we were afraid of missing the train again so we went there super early...==
the moral of the story is to check the opening times of the train station....
freezing lor...
luckily the train back to notts was warm...
finally home and blogging...napped for 2 hours plus just now...
and this blogpost took me more than 1 hour ==

tommy hilfiger!!! this perfume is just super nice and it reminds me of my mama...><
