Europe Trip Part 1

I dunno how long this post will be or will I ever be able to finish writing it because I'm so damn lazy...haha

I digress,

just got my year 2 results from my tutor one hour ago...

my only aim is to get over 70 for my average mark and I did it =))))) happy enough 

hopefully I can get an average of 70 and above until I graduate =))))) it's not wrong to aim high right? 

though my average is over 70 but one stupid module was under 70 and it's design and manufacture == 

DM! why u disappoint me.... 

got 82 overall for MOS but considering my last sem's marks i think i didn't do very well for this sem's paper =( 

okok..back to topic...

went travelling the past 2 weeks...boy it was tiring! 

and expensive 

So I shall start with my first stop - ROME 

flew to rome myself from london and fortunately i didn't get lost or anything == 

met up with mom at Fiumicino Airport and got to the hotel smoothly =)))

the first day was just solely a travelling day and I was already quite exhausted ==

toured ROME the very next day~ 

finally met our tour members and our tour director, MiMi...

hop on the bus and here we go~ 

I think I've repeated this many times...lizzie mguire's song kept playing in my head...hahahaha

will I meet my Paolo at the Trevi Fountain? hahahaha obviously no == 

First Stop-Vatican City 

Didn't know I was going there until the day before...I guess when u r in Rome you are expected to go there =) 

It was quite cool to think that it's the smallest country in the world and its populations is just under 800...

I think there're much more tourists than the actual ppl staying there...

 St Peter's Basilica 

If you've studied world history ( Tsun Jin peeps!) you would have remembered that Michelangelo has a very popular ceiling masterpiece...yeap...it's inside the Sistine chapel and I've seen it =))) it's amazing! looking at it already gives you back pains..how about painting it for four years? Michelangelo must have had very bad Rheumatoid when he was old...just joking 

too bad pictures were not allowed inside the chapel...

Told by our guide that the St Peter's Basilica is the biggest Christian Church in the world! and I must say, it's huge! and none of the paintings inside were real paintings..it was all glass mosaic....imagine those people putting those pieces of mosaic together....goodness....

Next stop~

The arch~ passed by the forums but didn't really have the chance to see it closed up...but i do say it's a spectacular experience to see all these historical monuments in front of your own eyes 

 The Colosseum..seen this on tv, pictures but now i get to see it with my very own eyes...it's huge! 

 Trevi Fountain! another lizzie mguire moment == made a couple of wishes there..one went well and now waiting for the other one =))

I think that's all for Rome...BTW..i ate Gelato everyday in Italy...hahahahaha

not all are good but quite satisfying XD 

Italians are very enthusiastic people..you'll get loads of hugs and kisses from the ppl there...

not like Londoners...so cold and rude =( 

will continue with Florence in my next post~ 

牛津一日游~

不要怀疑。。。我又来跟随食尚玩家的脚步去玩了。。。XD

这次还和亲爱的flatmate-Nabila一起去。。。XD

牛津真的很漂亮。。很古色古香。。。建筑物都好好好老。。。

而且看到每个人都觉得每个人都好聪明。。。哈哈哈哈

唯一美中不足的就是当天的火车好多耽误和更换。。。烦到。。。

在火车上我还打给了运输公司确认一下东西。。。

明明按了要英文，结果不知道为什么接线员竟然在讲广东话。。。==

我整个突然扎到到不会换channel==

僵持了大概三秒才接上话。。。

期间根本就懒惰问为什么我按英文但是变成广东话== 

算了。。。幸亏不是什么法语，意大利语。。不然我真的被hold住== 

经过了三个小时的折腾我们终于到了牛津啦。。。。

说到牛津当然不能忽略鼎鼎有名的牛津大学啦。。。历史超过800的大学真的不是盖的。。。如果我进到牛津的话那该是多么的好啊。。。哈哈哈。。。发梦啦。。。

 首先第一个迎接我们的建筑物就是oxford castle~

话说，从一个校区到另一个校区不会太远，牛津的市中心还蛮小的。。步行就可以到达著名的景点了。。。不过你如果很懒做功课的话就可以乘搭当地的touristic bus...我不清楚他的价钱不过根据巴塞隆纳的经验，不便宜。。。

 我有去看这栋的建筑物叫什么，不过老了，记不住== 

 来到了牛津必看的christ church...

为什么必看？第一，哈里波特一些场景是在这里取景的，the golden compass也有在这里取景，如果没记错的话,golden compass应该就是在我上面那张照片取景的。。。我有看过那部电影，不过那么多年我哪里记得哦。。。

还有还有Lewis Caroll也是在这个地方完成了Alice in Wonderland这本书。。。

他是牛津数学系的学生到后来成为牛津的教授。。。从小到大都有体弱多病的趋向。。。

 过了入口处第一个看到的景象

 回眸一笑=XD

 这个场景有看哈里波特的人都会觉得熟悉吧。。就是他们一群hogwarts 学生要去聚餐的时候排队的楼梯

 这也是在christ church里的cathedral 

 和教堂里的神父的合照。。。哈哈。。其实我只是很random要和他合照，结果我合照后大家都效法我去跟他合照。。。他瞬间红了。。。XD 

 christ church里的Tom Quad..我们还上演一场bollywood奔跑XD

经过查证，这才是the golden compass的拍摄场景XD

 这个场景大家更熟悉了吧。。。XD 哈里波特里的dining room就是效法这里的摆设的啦。。。

离开了christ church我们也到处游荡。。。来到了牛津一个蛮出名的地标- Radcliffe Camera...

 其实这场纯粹就觉得天色很诡异而已XD

这个柱子那么大就想分享一下咯。。。

到了傍晚我们也坐上火车回到了nottingham~

一直走走走。。。说真的蛮累得。。。晚上超好睡得XD

快要离开英国了。。。我唯一的遗憾就是来不及去很多我想去的地方。。。

先不要说欧洲其他国家。。。

就说英国本身，我还没看到矩石阵啊。。。。=（（（

希望以后还有机会回来。。。不！我一定会再回来。。。

后天就要出发到罗马了。。。XD 兴奋啊。。。

another Glossy review~

Long time no blog! 

One more subject and I'm officially free from exams! 

to relax from taxing revision schedules, i decided to do a first impression review on May's glossybox...

this will be my last blogpost of glossybox unless they decided to bring in to Malaysia =( 

which i will be going home soon by the end of June~

This is their 1st anniversary box...

it's weird that all the boxes i got up till now are all themed boxes...

long story short..just head into the products...

This perfume sample is called si lolita...not a fan of it...smells too powdery and I don't normally like eau de parfum because it's too heavy for my liking...eau de toilette rules! but i basically don't wear perfume because I just can't remember to wear..haha 

 This perfume sample is called lolita lempicka...same..not a fan of it..too powdery 

 Noble Isle-bath and shower gel..quite a strong scent but is the kind of scent that I like...more towards herbal,floral scent=) 

 falsies! ok..to be honest, I've nvr wear falsies out be4...and i barely go out with full makeup because i'm just plain lazy...but no harm getting a kua jiong falsies right? got diamante summore lei... 

 berber oil- for hair treatment...scentless...will see how good it works...

 masks~ hmmm...looks appealing but dunno when only i'll try it since i dont really mask 

last but not least~a compact mirror and a balloon to celebrate their 1st anniversary~

23号就考试啦。。。。

时间就是那么的快。。。

不知不觉year 2就要结束了。。。

那时才说要来英国，如今还有一个月就要回国了。。。

下次再踏入欧洲应该是很多年后的事情了吧。。。><

我说的刺激就是要在这恐怖的考试期间注入一点快乐，振奋的元素。。。

就是旅行啊。。。

一直在想考试后去哪里去哪里。。。想到就开心=）

这次考试后第一站，顺利的话就是牛津=）

然后就去罗马~威尼斯~维若那~ 坲罗伦斯~卢森~巴黎~然后最后一站就是伦敦=）

我想我会很想念伦敦吧。。。

比起诺丁汉，伦敦实在是太太太爽了啦。。。

我果然是个典型的城市小孩。。。

虽然很宅但是城市还是比较爽啦。。。

暑假就没办法去哪里了。。。因为要工作。。。

year 3后的暑假，应该是我人生中最后一次暑假了吧。。。year 4后不算了啦。。。毕业了就没暑假要进入社会了啦。。除非我很犯贱地跑去报读post-grad( which i am not surprised) 

year 3后的暑假我盘算至少要去曼谷和香港吧。。。

要去曼谷是因为，每个人去了都说好玩+我还没去过。。。去国泰国两次了但是竟然还没去过曼谷== 

然后香港！！ 因为有免费住宿+上次去已经是快3年前的事情了吧。。。香港东西太好吃了啦。。。

其实我也很想重返韩国><毕竟上次去已经是14岁的事情我都快忘完了，而且那时我还没哈韩。。。

不过韩国有点麻烦是要找到志同道合（哈韩）的朋友一起去才会明白我要去的一些点。。。

可惜我身边好像没什么超级哈韩德朋友。。。所以。。韩国暂时搁着吧。。。

哇。。。所以我要努力存钱。。。year 3的零用钱要全数存起来作为旅游基金。。。

钱钱钱。。我需要钱。。。

Mandy! she made me watch this show during year 1 finals and i instantly liked it =))))) 

2. Who's your favorite character!

For now i think it's Caroline~ used to be neutral towards all character and I used to hate caroline..but she grew on me since she became a vampire XDDDD 

3. If you were vampire would u live of human or animal blood?

human...i would just go to the hospital and take the blood bags...XD 

4. Team Stefan or damon!

erm.....stefan for elena and damon for me? hahahahaha.... maybe team damon...coz he's sarcastic and he's cute in his own way =) 

5. What's ur favorite supernatural power?

from the show i think it's the witchcraft.... coz bonnie seems the most powerful every time and vampires are like all physical...

6. If u were to be a character who would u be?

caroline! because tyler is hawwwwt! XD

7. Have u read the book series?

nope....nvr thought of reading it because i read the synopsis and it looks quite different from the tv series..i rather other books than confuse myself... 

8. Who's ur crush on the show?

tyler? hahahaha..because he's hot..duhhhhhhh 

9. What was ur first initial thought of the show and did it change after u saw it!

i thought i wouldn't like it because i thought it was going to be like twilight but it's totally different..more story line ,more happenings....

10. Who was ur favorite villain?

i don't normally like any villain but if i hv to choose, maybe klaus...because he likes caroline...ok..that's the weirdest reason....

just a short update~ 

can't believe time goes by so fast...

yesterday i was shopping for assam paste to bring to UK and i m now only less than 2 months away from going home =)))) 

still have a lot to do...

Beauty Box alert!!

I've  finally received my april glossybox today =)

this is another 1st impression review..so nothing in dept la...=) 

this month's theme is natural beauty box~ because it's earth month=)) so the box that came in is not their usual baby pink girly box but this time it's in a brownish beige box...

 as usual, a pretty ribbon with a product list~ 

 first glance inside the box~ the body wash catches my eye 1st because i was like : why???! why didn't this come earlier then i dont hv to buy a new body wash... == 

 ayuri natural body wash in sandalwood...=) I'm fond of woody scent and my mom used to burn essential oil at home, sandalwood is one of the most used scent other than greentea and eucalyptus =) conclusion: i like the scent =) 

 inika certified organic eyeliner in carviar black...hmm..glides on easily but not too sure about the staying power...went to glossybox website and saw most ppl got colours other than black..well, i don't mind getting colours other than black since i hv so many black liners already..but not complaining =)

 caudalie vinosource sos thirst quenching serum...not sure whether i'm going to try or not coz i've just recovered from skin sensitiveness and i'm trying to cut down on facial products in case anything provokes my vulnerable skin == now treating the hyper pigmentation scar caused by my sensitive patch..stupid weather...

 kai-perfume oil..not a fan of the scent...toooooooo overwhelming...

 figs and rouge lip balm..smells really nice but dunno whether it's good or not yet =))) 

 so that's all~ just a small update so my blog wont be so lifeless
