another totally random blog post...
well, i m actually affected by hallyu wave quite late...
started being a true kpop fans only since july 2010...late huh...
but i hv to trace back to year 2006 when tvxq came to malaysia for their concert...
well, of coz i didn't go la...i don't even know who they were...
but because of all the publicity, i went and listen to some of their songs and it was actually quite pleasing and they are all very cute...hahahaha
my fav tvxq member is u-know since then till now..but i was nvr a cassie...
yea, they're hot and they sing and dance well...but it didn't catch my attention for long...
the only thing i did was buying one of their album..."o" jung,ban,hap ...version C~ with the movie "vacation"..
the funnyt part is that i bought the CD in thailand, coz it was so much cheaper than in malaysia and its original~
but the worst thing is that the DVD comes in thai subtitles...oh great... dialogues in korean and subs in thailand...==
but in the end i still watch the whole movie by just guessing what they were saying but it was amazingly nice...
that's all... i bought one CD then that's it...only occasionally watching their MVs but not officially their fans and did not continue venturing into kpop...
as for kdrama...
my first kdrama was princess hours which was forced by my tuition teacher...
she basically force me to watch this drama by shoving the stack of vcds to me...
and i did not like that drama...
it started out quite nice...but then it gotten all teary and slow and boring...==
and i swear i did not touch any other kdramas since than until last year, and i watched princess hours also in year 2006...
korea, i've been to korean in year 2005..loved the trip although i know nothing about korea except a little of dae jang geum, autumn in my heart and winter sonata...nvr watched all these dramas but they were damn popular at that time...visited some of the movie scenes like the carousel from stairway to heaven, the beach from autumn in my heart and the movie settings from dae jang geum...but the memorable part wasn't about kdramas, it was about the awesome food, snow,ice skiing, theme parks~~~ it was really fun...but did not know anything about kpop at all...
how did i started going crazy about kpop?
i guess after than in 2010, dunno why i started watching girls generation's MVs and basically learnt some of their dances...
i learnt gee first, then run devil run...this was the beginning of year 2010...
after that just kept learning new dances..like Oh! , Genie~~
but i wasn't a sone either...
i just liked their dances and all... btw, i liked taeyeon the most...
i'd actually bought their oh! repackage album coz i really liked run devil run...
until early july when sment posted super junior's no other MV...
i just watched the mv for fun...
but oh damn..i got addicted to it so much that i watched the MV up to date, i think more than 300 times?
then i got addicted to super junior....so quickly...
and started collecting their albums, merchandise and etc etc...
my bias is donghae..btw..haha
and ended up also learning their dances...
like its you,no other,bonamana,perfection...
then after falling for superjunior...
i started watching other kpop groups...
nvr liked other boybands as much as super junior...coz they're epic ^^
watched their old variety shows which were awesome and hilarious....
watched their movies, interviews, etc etc...they are just irresistible...
kpop dances...
i really liked missA, so i've learnt two of their songs, breathe and good girl bad girl...
then secret's shy boy
so i guess...i've learnt 10 kpop dances up to date and still counting...
kdramas...
well, i've just said i did not watch any kdramas after princess hours until 2010...
after falling for kpop,its weird if i dont like kdramas..so i gave it a try again..
and it was actually kinda entertaining..hahaha...
didn't watch much...but consider a lot to me as i am a hong kong drama addict...
watched mary stayed out all night, boys over flowers, he's beautiful,dream high, cinderella sister, playful kiss,...ya i guess that's all..
going to start on siwon's oh my lady and might watch donghae's it's ok daddy's daughter..didn't watch it immediately coz he's not the main character..but watched some of the clips and his acting was awesome ^^
currently not really in the mood to watch korean dramas coz sometimes it's quite depressing...
and can't wait for donghae and siwon's taiwanese drama - extravagant challenge...awesome la..i like watching taiwanese dramas too ^^
and super junior's fifth album ^^ daebbak!
