so yea...since i blog about my birthday pretty much every year...
i'll just make it a tradition to blog about it...
I don't really celebrate birthdays btw...
being single says it all LOL
i will try to not be single next year...says every year LOL
this is getting depressing hahaha and listening to dawen's beautiful is not helping at all =.="
nevermind...I have my friends and family =)
so the day before my birthday, me and jan decided to go down to Bangsar to have cake!
yes, cake!
hearing this word from me is like a miracle LOL
haven't had cake for more than 10 months! crazy shit right? hahahaha
tadaaa~~ my long awaited carrot cake!!! the only cake that i constantly think about the whole time not having cakes =(
Remember! marmalade in bangsar village serves the best carrot cake! IMHO!
so moist and solid...and the cream cheese is just divine!

we basically hung out the whole day, went and watch captain america and i accidentally fell asleep for awhile coz i was really tired..not that the movie was boring..it was just me being sleepy...
sorry chris evans..u were really hot...and ur hotness has eventually kept me awake hahahaha
then Mr.Wai Loon came and crash our dinner at sushi tei!
I was feeling kinda guilty after having that cake so i just ordered unagi with egg...which doesn't even seemed healthy LOL
it was fun chatting with you guys and it's great to be able to just say whatever i want to say like a crazy woman =) a toast to all final year students!!!

On the actual day which was 19th April I spent my whole afternoon doing my assignments...
sorry if i sounded like a bitch for saying i can't go out in the day because i had to do my work to compensate going out at night =(
at that time, it was like a pile of undone work waiting for me to molest them LOL
it's my fault because I procrastinated too much before that and that's the price to pay LOL
after attempting to finish my robotics coursework which obviously i couldn't...did only less than half of it...MM4RAT , why you so hard to write =(
I got dressed and waited for Venice =)
BTW, it was raining cats and dogs at that time...
the jam was terrible too...
we had to call Tanzini to keep our table because our reservation was supposed to be at 7pm but we only managed to get thr by 8.30pm LOL
KL and their stupid jam and flood and that stupid tree that caught Venice off guard near my house...
I didn't know there's a difference between Tanzini and Tanzini@upperdeck...
so apparently upperdeck is only for fine dining...
This is probably my first proper fine dining after Europe LOL
eh..ain't everybody have the money to go for fine dining all the time lor...
The ambience was quite nice...the floor-length window and all...but i would say it was more for mushy lovey dovey couples hahaha...
the seats were freaking sofas! a bit inconvenient i would say...i would rather sit on normal chairs hahaha
Not very sure what's this but it was complementary and i'm guessing it's raw tuna+cooked tuna? it tasted good though
my appetizer- snow crab+ foie gras otak-otak...
It was nice but I was expecting more foie gras taste in it..all i could taste was the otak-otak..slight disappointment here
This sorbet is also another complementary transition dish...not very sure what flavour was it though..but it was quite refreshing
my main: quail something LOL
the name of the dishes are too damn long to memorize la...i know that i'm eating quail then ok edi..haha
decided to not order beef that day since i was still feeling all guilty from the cake ytd..LOL..
as if quail is anymore healthier ==
but i kinda like the infused veggies...very unique and juicy
Finally~ my dessert!
yam with some sweet malty biscuits? and there's boba inside...hahaha
not very conventional but kinda cute
Overall the food was okay, service was fast though and friendly...
Btw, it's not cheap and now I need to zip up my wallet for awhile...

So after dinner, we decided to go to marini's on 57 for drinks...
it was damn random..
friends from different groups came all of a sudden...
look at the crowd...
The view was pretty spectacular...could see the double corns just right the window...
A friend doesn't want his family to know that he came out to drink, so I'll just not expose him =)
Shing Fong came too! but didn't get to say much coz he was with his friends and there weren't enough chairs for everyone so he left quite early... =(

I would say that it's not a usual place for me to hang out but no harm trying new places =)
we're young! just make sure you do no wrong and you're fine!
and then back to reality until now....
it was just assignments and FYP!!!!
didn't even hv time to have my birthday dinner with my family yet...==
